With 20+ years in mission-focused work, Christina Armstrong, CFRE, has led teams, overseeing multi-million-dollar fundraising budgets, donor communications, volunteers, large-scale events, grants, and sponsorships. She currently is focused on aligning major donor’s philanthropic goals to the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) mission.
Christina serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ DC Chapter (AFP-DC), is co-chair of AFP-DC’s Core Education Subcommittee, a member of AFP-DC’s IDEA committee, and a co-chair for AFP-DC’s Latinx Affinity Group. She also is a proud founding member of WWF’s ECOLATINO Employee Resource Group for Hispanic and Latinx/Latine colleagues.
She obtained her Certified Fund-Raising Executive (CFRE) certification in March 2022 and is a first-generation college student with a BA in Government from Cornell University.
