Kris Kuhns is a Senior Vice President at CCS Fundraising with nearly two decades of experience helping nonprofits build the board leadership, volunteer, and donor engagement that drive lasting philanthropic impact. Over her career, she has contributed to campaigns that have collectively raised nearly $1 billion — and she knows that behind every successful campaign is a team that is aligned, energized, and well-supported.
Kris works with organizations across health, education, advocacy, and faith to strengthen governance, deepen board engagement, and build cultures where volunteers and staff thrive together. She is a frequent presenter on board strategy, leadership development, and the organizational alignment practices that sustain high-performing fundraising teams.
Kris serves as Immediate Past President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals – Washington, DC Metro Area Chapter as well as the Volunteer Co-Chair for the Bridge to Integrated Marketing & Fundraising Conference. Kris resides in Arlington, Virginia.
