Sasha Soumah is the Founder & Managing Director of SASS LLC, an organization dedicated to expanding access and representation through movement and community-centered programming. Through SASS, she creates inclusive spaces that empower individuals of all backgrounds and abilities to thrive.
Sasha’s professional background is in fundraising and strategic development. She began her career in the association space at the American Hotel & Lodging Foundation, where she managed major gifts, individual giving, sponsorship, vendor relations, and strategic partnerships. She also supports LEAP in advancing leadership development and resource mobilization efforts.
She is passionate about developing opportunities for youth and underrepresented communities, including students, individuals with disabilities, and Black and African-American communities. Sasha serves as the Rising Leader Board Member with AFP DC and is actively involved in leadership initiatives, as the Co-Lead for the Emerging Leaders affinity group, that fosters connection and professional growth within the fundraising sector.
