Jessi Marsh, M.S., is a seasoned nonprofit leader with 20+ years of experience advancing nonprofits through internal leadership roles and external consulting. Her career spans a diverse range of causes, including out-of-school programming, health & human services, higher education, and food insecurity across local, national, and international settings.
Holding a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Jessi has successfully led fundraising and external relations teams, overseeing communications, campaigns, events, grants, and major gift strategies. She’s also guided philanthropic strategy as a grant maker and currently serves on the board of a foundation at a university foundation.
Jessi currently serves as CEO of the Will Allen Foundation in Pittsburgh.
Past employers and clients include YWCAs of New York State, Light of Life Rescue Mission, Boys & Girls Clubs, 412 Food Rescue, Arthritis Foundation, Boston Archdiocese, United Way, Edinboro University, Partnership for a Drug Free America, Gospel for Asia and Urban Impact.
Outside of her professional work, Jessi is an engaged community leader and a mentor to emerging leaders. She lives outside of Pittsburgh with her husband, daughter, and Daisy the labradoodle.
