Todd Bemis is a creative strategist and technologist with roots in architecture and three decades leading marketing, digital, design, and strategy. Trained to think in systems and space, he brings an architect’s rigor—clarity of structure, empathy for users, and bias for buildable solutions—to the messy, human work of fundraising and brand growth. As Vice President of Client Innovation at The Lukens Company, Todd helps mission-driven organizations translate insight into action, uniting audience research, disciplined testing, and standout creative to drive measurable revenue and lasting relationships.
Todd’s current focus is simple and urgent: use the newest tools in AI to maintain—and amplify—the humanity in our messaging and strategic methods. He builds responsible, human-in-the-loop workflows that accelerate learning without flattening nuance, from persona-based content systems to end-to-end optimization that keeps people (not prompts) at the center. His “Data with Heart” approach pairs predictive discipline with story: model what matters, speak like a person, and design experiences that make donors feel seen, respected, and essential.
For nearly 30 years, Todd has guided campaigns across social services, animal welfare, arts and culture, faith-based, and advocacy sectors, partnering with teams to align offer, brand, and audience—then iterate relentlessly.
