Liza Douglas, CFRE, has a 25-year career in fundraising for domestic and international health and human service nonprofits. Since 2015, she is a senior executive in Transformational Philanthropy at the American Heart Association, where she has secured over $100 million in novel 7- and 8-figure grants. Liza holds a Master’s degree in nonprofit administration, CFRE certification since 2008, and faculty certification with the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is an active member of AFP’s Washington DC chapter.
