Eric leads Blue State's global paid media practice. With more than a decade of experience at the intersection of political and advocacy strategy, advertising, and fundraising, he has launched first-of-their-kind marketing campaigns, built teams to run complex programs and strategies in short windows and high-stakes environments, and raised hundreds of millions of dollars for Democratic campaigns, progressive causes, and nonprofits.
Eric joined Blue State from eStreet Group where, as Managing Director, he served as general and media consultant to progressive campaigns and advocacy organizations, and oversaw the agency's digital fundraising and traditional and digital advertising work. He has built and led advertising and digital strategy teams, managed millions of dollars in ad spend, and generated hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue for organizations including Senator Elizabeth Warren's presidential campaign, National Women's Law Center, President Barack Obama's 2012 re-election campaign, and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. He has also overseen corporate social responsibility, advocacy, and public affairs campaigns for clients including McDonald's, Covered California, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Eric is originally from the Washington, DC, area and holds a B.A. in History and American Culture Studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
