Roger Hiyama is Strategic Growth Advisor for Civis Analytics which features an all-in-one analytics and AI platform that helps users gain control of their data, easily develop distributed dashboards and reporting, and leverage AI tools to dramatically improve staff efficiency, drive cost savings and deliver better fundraising results and outcomes. Nonprofit organizations and agencies can easily combine disparate databases into a single, unduplicated clean "data warehouse of truth," eliminating manual updates through automated workflows and report distribution across the entire enterprise. AI tools turn unstructured data into meaningful and powerful new insights and, more importantly, democratize access to powerful audience-building segmentation and business intelligence interfaces for non-technical users.
Prior to joining Civis Analytics, Roger was EVP, Solutions & Innovation at database cooperative Wiland for 10 years. Roger also has held senior-level management roles with agencies including Merkle, Moore and Russ Reid where he was deeply involved in data-driven multi-channel fundraising for some of America's largest charities. Roger was honored in 2025 with the ANA's Max Hart Leadership Award and was inducted into the DMAW Hall of Leaders in 2022. He was a DMAW Board Member for 10 years that included the role of President in 2020. He is a frequent volunteer, speaker and conference planning committee member for many industry groups.
