April Komolmis is the Director of Development and External Affairs at Ednovate, a network of high-performing college-prep public charter schools in Los Angeles and Orange County. She leads multi-million-dollar fundraising campaigns, cultivates major donors, and forges partnerships that expand opportunities for students and families.
April began her career in youth mentoring and educational programs before spending a decade in homeless services, where she focused on community engagement, volunteer coordination, and program management. These experiences shaped her passion for creating a more equal playing field for children and families. She is recognized for leveraging her relationship-building skills to connect individuals with organizations making lasting impact in communities that need it most.
Growing up on a farm in Wisconsin, April brings the strong work ethic she learned at a young age to everything she does. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Azusa Pacific University and now lives in Encino with her husband, stepson, and pup, Scout. In her free time, she enjoys bringing people together to build community and inspire social change.
