Madeleine Durante is a resource mobilizer for social justice with over a decade of fundraising experience. Madeleine currently leads the ACLU's donor acquisition and reinstatement programs. Prior to the ACLU, she was the director of donor retention and direct response at MoveOn, where she established its midlevel donor community, scaled new fundraising channels, and created its first cross-channel retention program. Madeleine began her career in direct response fundraising at Planned Parenthood Federation of America, where she worked at the intersection of marketing and stewardship for its midlevel donor program and co-chaired its LGBTQ employee resource group. Her work has been featured in publications including The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Philanthropy Masterminds, Advancing Philanthropy Magazine, and NYC Fundraising Matters. Madeleine is a board alumni and volunteers with the New York Abortion Access Fund, and received AFP-Global’s 2024 Outstanding Young Professional Award.
