Americus Reed II is a father, professor, researcher, entrepreneur, speaker, angel investor, musician, and lifelong student of identity. As the Whitney M. Young, Jr. Professor of Marketing at the Wharton School, he brings over 25 years of experience studying how identity shapes consumer behavior, branding, organizational culture, and market dynamics. Known as the world’s leading “identity theorist,” Reed blends rigorous social psychological research with pop-culture insight to create a unique right-brain/left-brain approach to business and life. His work has helped organizations such as Disney, Apple, Google, Nike, and the Philadelphia Eagles better understand how identity drives growth, loyalty, and meaning.
