AVP, Annual Giving & Digital Programs
GOBEL
Jonathan brings to GOBEL over a decade of annual giving and digital programs experience across a variety of sectors, including nonprofit, higher education, and healthcare. He thrives at the intersection of storytelling and data, crafting narratives that inform and inspire an audience while delving into data-driven insights to pinpoint the most receptive audiences.
Prior to GOBEL, Jonathan served as the inaugural Director of Leadership Annual Giving at Keck Medicine of USC, where he built the first-ever enterprise-wide recognition program to actively solicit, engage, and steward mid-tier level donors. During his tenure at Keck Medicine of USC, Jonathan also helped oversee the direct mail and digital giving program for the health system and medical education program. Before USC, Jonathan was part of the central annual giving at UC Irvine, where he raised dollars for the UCI Fund, as well as specific schools and units across the campus, through a multi-channel approach involving direct mail, email, phone, and peer-to-peer fundraising.
Jonathan holds a Master’s degree in Communication Management from USC Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Behavior from UC Irvine. He currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
